Front Lines Deserve Front Seats

Healthcare workers at University Hospitals of Cleveland are organizing to protect patients, improve working conditions, and ensure quality care. Join our movement for positive change.

Reinstate Drs. Beene & Fouts-Fowler

Our kids lost two of their fiercest advocates. Both were recognized by Cleveland Magazine as “Best Physicians”. They were fired by UH for contacting other physicians to improve patient care. This is intimidation to silence our voice.

This Is About Patient Safety

The issues we face directly impact the quality of care our patients receive. These problems cannot be ignored.

Billing Issues

Administrative delays and insurance complications affecting patient care timelines

Lab Delays

Critical tests are delayed, lost or not done despite being ordered

Retaliation

Advocating for our patients resulted in disciplinary actions or even termination

Burnout

Overwhelming workloads and lack of resources have resulted in physicians leaving the system

Why We’re Organizing

As healthcare professionals, we’ve witnessed firsthand how corporate decisions prioritizing profits over patients are compromising the quality of care we can provide. The problems are systemic and growing. Our voice is crucial to ensure good patient care. We want to work together with administrators to create a better system. A physician union will allow legally protected avenues to effect necessary changes.

Why We’re Organizing

As healthcare professionals, we’ve witnessed firsthand how corporate decisions prioritizing profits over patients are compromising the quality of care we can provide.

From understaffing that leads to burnout, to administrative barriers that delay critical treatments, to retaliation against those who speak up for patient safety – the problems are systemic and growing.

We believe that healthcare workers deserve a voice in decisions that affect both our patients and our profession. Together, we can create positive change
